Perfect Attendance Champions

On 15th February 2025, Sacred Heart Convent School held a heartfelt celebration to honor the students of classes I to XI who had full attendance during the 2025-26 academic session. The event, organized by the school, was aimed to recognize the dedication and commitment of these students to their studies and school activities.

 The ceremony began with a warm welcome from the Principal, who praised the students for their consistency and discipline. Each student with full attendance was called up on stage and presented with a certificate of appreciation. The celebration was simple yet meaningful, with an atmosphere of pride and encouragement.

 The event also highlighted the importance of attendance in maintaining good academic progress and discipline. Teachers and staff members expressed their gratitude towards the students and their families for their support in ensuring such consistent participation. It was a moment of pride for both the students and the school.

The ceremony concluded with a group photo and a sense of accomplishment among the students, who left the event feeling motivated to continue their journey of excellence.

"Soar With The Wings Of Wisdom"- Farewell 2025

The Farewell Ceremony for the Batch of 2024 at Sacred Heart Convent Higher Secondary School was a heartfelt and memorable occasion, beautifully themed Soar With the Wings of Wisdom. The seniors made a graceful entry, holding candles and flower sticks, symbolizing their journey ahead.

The event began with a prayer service, setting a serene tone for the day. This was followed by the much-anticipated Personality Contest, judged by Dr. Sarika Gautam and Mrs. Reeva Roy, where students impressed the judges with their catwalk, talent, and Q&A rounds. Adding to the excitement, fun games like Balloon Dance and Paper Dance filled the venue with laughter.

Each student was honored with a personality-based title and a memento, presented by Sr. Principal Juanita Sebastian and Sr. Suzy. The celebration was made even more special with Class 11 students’ soulful orchestra and an energetic dance performance, showcasing their love and admiration for their seniors.

The evening reached its peak with the crowning of Mr. Sacred Heart – Jai Solanki and Ms. Sacred Heart – Anshanshi Pandey. As a heartfelt gesture, the farewell batch presented a token of love to Sr. Principal, expressing their gratitude. The event concluded on a high note with a grand finale dance by Class XI students and an inspiring address by Sr. Principal, leaving everyone with cherished memories.

Inaugural Ceremony of Sacredians Sports Academy

The inauguration of the Veronican Sports Ground was held on 31st January, 2025 at Sacred Heart Convent Higher Secondary School, Moti Kunj, Mathura. The event began with the Principal invoking the blessings of the Almighty.

 The Chief Guest, Mr. Bhushan Verma, C.O. City Mathura, officially inaugurated the sports ground by cutting the ribbon and lighting the sports torch.

 In his speech, Mr. Verma encouraged students to actively participate in sports, emphasizing the physical and mental benefits of regular play. He expressed concern over the increasing inclination of youth towards internet-based games instead of real-life indoor and outdoor sports. He urged students to engage in at least one sport and shared inspiring personal experiences, highlighting the dedication and hard work that led him to his current position.

 Mr. Verma also emphasized the importance of consistent practice and sportsmanship. To further inspire the students, he enthusiastically played volleyball, kabaddi, and cricket with the academy students, demonstrating his passion for sports.

Republic Day Celebration: "A Reflection of Freedom & Democracy"

The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm at our school on January 26, 2025. 

The event commenced with a majestic march past, accompanied by the chief guest, Mr. Anuj Saxena, Principal Sr. Juanita Sebastian, and Sisters of the community. The chief guest unfurled the national flag, which was followed by the rendition of the national anthem and flag song. A prayer song and prayer service added a touch of solemnity to the occasion.  Mrs. Rathi introduced the chief guest and was warmly welcomed by the Principal Sr. Juanita Sebastian and other Sisters with a shawl, bouquet and a token of love.

Master Prakhar delivered an inspiring English speech, highlighting the significance of Republic Day. Ahana Anand followed with a thought-provoking Hindi speech, emphasizing the importance of patriotism and national unity. The students showcased their talent through a musical skit, which was highly appreciated by the audience. A patriotic song added to the festive atmosphere.

The chief guest felicitated the 10th and 12th board students, acknowledging their hard work and achievements.

Mr. Anuj Saxena delivered a motivational message, encouraging the students to become responsible citizens and contribute to the nation's growth. Sr. Principal also addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of discipline, hard work, and patriotism.

Ms. Shalini Lal proposed a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the chief guest, Management, staff, and students for making the event a grand success. The celebration concluded with the rendition of the national song, filling the hearts of everyone present with pride and patriotism. The Republic Day celebration was a memorable event that instilled a sense of national pride and unity among the students and staff.

The Sr. Principal extended her heartfelt appreciation to the Blue House teachers and all other staff members who contributed to the day's success.

On 10th January, 2025, Sacred Heart School organized an orientation program exclusively for 10th standard students, aimed at guiding them in making informed decisions about their academic pursuits and future career paths. The program focused on equipping students with the knowledge and confidence to tackle the challenges ahead as they prepare for higher education.

Heads of various departments shared their expertise to provide students with a detailed understanding of different streams and career options available after the 10th standard. Mr. Raman, Head of Mathematics, Mr. Vijay, Head of Commerce, and Mr. Dharam, Head of Physics, offered valuable insights into their respective fields. They highlighted the opportunities, challenges, and future prospects within each discipline, helping students identify paths aligned with their strengths and interests.

"Roots and Feasts: Thanksgiving in the Heart of the Village"

On December 31st, Sacred Heart School embarked an outreach program at St. Michael School, Anup Nagar Usfar, Mathura where the school management, teachers, and staff brought warmth and joy to the students. The day began with a soulful prayer service, followed by energetic dance performances. The Sacredians also actively participated in the program, with their own singing and dance performances. 

The school management then offered blankets to all the students. The day concluded with a delicious lunch organized by the St. Michael School community as a token of gratitude. This Thanksgiving-inspired event celebrated the spirit of giving.

 It was a meaningful way to end the year, spreading love, kindness, and warmth to those in need.

"Jingle All the Way: Christmas Day Celebration"

On December 23, 2024, Sacred Heart Convent Higher Secondary School celebrated the joyous season with a grand Christmas and New Year Fete, filling the campus with festive cheer. The day commenced with a warm welcome at the gate, followed by an introduction to the day’s significance. The ceremonial lighting of candles symbolizes hope, peace, joy, and love, setting the tone for the celebration.

A soulful hymn and prayer service invoked blessings, followed by captivating performances from the Primary and Secondary Carol competition winners. The highlight of the event was the Nativity Play with a mesmerizing Tableau Presentation, bringing the story of Christ’s birth to life. The audience was further enthralled by a melodious Christmas song and an energetic finale dance.

The Principal’s message inspired everyone with the true essence of Christmas. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, after which a lively fete was organized. Teachers set up vibrant stalls offering games, delicious treats, and fun activities, making it a day of joy and togetherness for students and staff alike.

Carol Singing Competition


On December 18, 2024, Sacred Heart Convent Higher Secondary School, Mathura, resonated with festive joy as it hosted a Carol Singing Competition in preparation for Christmas. The event commenced with a warm welcome to the esteemed judges, Sr. Suzy and Sr. Linda George, followed by an introduction to the day's significance. 

 A prayer service set a reverent tone for the occasion, invoking blessings for the participants. The much-awaited Carol Singing Competition then began, featuring melodious performances by both Primary and Secondary sections. The students captivated the audience with their harmonious carols, spreading the spirit of Christmas.  

Following the spirited performances, the results were announced, celebrating the winners. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, the presentation of gifts to the judges, and warm farewells, leaving everyone in a joyous and festive spirit.

Sacredian Sports Frenzy 2024


On 30th November 2024, Sacred Heart Convent Higher Secondary School, Motikunj, Mathura, organized its much-awaited Annual Sports Meet 2024. The event was conducted at the spacious police ground in Mathura, providing an ideal setting for a day filled with sportsmanship and enthusiasm.

The District Magistrate graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while the Sub-Divisional Magistrate served as the Guest of Honour. A large temporary seating arrangement was set up to accommodate parents and students, ensuring they could comfortably enjoy the event. 

The day began with an opening ceremony, which included a warm welcome for the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour, followed by the flag hoisting and the lighting of the sports torch by the Chief Guest. The Sports Day officially commenced with a spectacular march past by the four Houses and the declaration of the day open by the Chief Guest. 

In her inspiring speech, the Sister Principal emphasized the importance of sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork. Students of secondary classes enthusiastically participated in a range of events. Competitions included relay races, 100-meter and 200-meter sprints, hurdle races, volleyball, football, kabaddi, kho-kho, and tug-of-war.

 The students of Primary Section also joined in with fun-filled games such as the sack race, monkey race, balloon race, dress-up race, vegetable race, hen race, spider race, octopus race, and cycle race. The younger participants displayed remarkable enthusiasm, while the senior students showcased their skills and determination.

 The spirit of competition and teamwork was evident throughout the day. Parents and teachers cheered loudly, adding to the vibrant atmosphere. The Chief Guest, Manager of the school and the Principal awarded the prizes to the winners, while points were awarded to the Houses based on their representatives’ performances. 

To ensure a delightful experience, the school arranged refreshments for parents and students. As the event drew to a close, the Principal declared the best player of the day, who received a memento and trophy from the Chief Guest.

In her closing address, the Principal expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their presence and support. She also congratulated the teachers and students for their hard work and exceptional performances, bringing the event to a memorable conclusion.

Teresian Treasure Trove-"A Creative Odyssey"


On 23 November 2024, The Teresian Treasure Hunt, conducted at the province level among all Carmelite schools. The event saw vibrant participation across multiple categories designed to engage young minds and spark their imaginations. This talent hunt was conducted under the following categories:

Pre-Primary: Little ones showcased their talent with an energetic and delightful action song performance.

Classes 1 & 2, and 3 & 4: Students displayed their creativity through engaging reels, highlighting their unique ideas and expressions.

Parents Group: The parents brought their rhythm and energy into the spotlight with an exciting rap song performance.

Classes 5-7, 8-10, and 11-12: Participants explored the world of model making, creating impressive structures that reflected their ingenuity.

Teachers Group: Teachers presented innovative teaching aids, reinforcing the importance of creativity in education.

The Teresian Treasure Hunt was not only a celebration of creativity but also a platform for nurturing the creative skills of young minds, promoting collaboration across various groups, and showcasing the boundless potential of every participant.

The occasion was a grand celebration of excellence, where meritorious individuals across different categories were recognized for their dedication, hard work, and contribution towards making this event successful. All the participants worked as a team and put their best foot forward as a result of which our school excelled in various categories. Sr. Principal call upon the teachers, parents and students in the assembly and acknowledged each one with certificates and medals for their hardwork and dedication.

In closing, the event served as an inspiring reminder that success is not solely about individual accomplishments but the collective efforts of all. Sacred Heart School continues to shine as a beacon of educational excellence, and the Teresian Treasure Trove was a perfect reflection of the value that our proud Sacredian upholds.

"Divine Grace, Heavenly Feast of Mother Veronica"-Red House

The Feast Day celebration of St. Mother Veronica, the revered foundress of the Apostolic Carmel, was joyfully organized by Red House at Sacred Heart Convent Higher Secondary School. The event began with a warm welcome to the sisters, setting the tone for a day of reverence and celebration.

The program commenced with the Lighting of the Lamp, a symbol of faith and wisdom, by the sisters and student leaders, followed by a prayer service, invoking blessings for the school and the students.

A student then delivered an introduction to the life and mission of St. Mother Veronica, highlighting her dedication to education, faith, and service. This was followed by a graceful prayer dance, offering a tribute to her spiritual legacy.

A heartfelt skit was performed, portraying the inspiring journey of St. Mother Veronica and her unwavering commitment to empower young minds. The event continued with a vibrant finale dance, celebrating her contributions with joy and devotion.

To enhance the spirit of fun and togetherness, engaging games were organized, fostering camaraderie among the students. The celebration wrapped up on a cheerful note with the distribution of snacks, leaving everyone with joyful memories and a sense of fulfillment

Through this event, students not only honored St. Mother Veronica’s legacy but also reaffirmed their commitment to following her path of faith, education, and service.

The Children’s Day celebration at Sacred Heart Convent Higher Secondary School was a joyous and vibrant event held on 14th November, 2024. The program began with a warm welcome by the hosts, addressing our esteemed Manager Sr. Linda George, Principal Sr. Juanita Sebastian, Sr. Suzy, Sr. Pushpa, teachers, and students. The day was dedicated to honor the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who believed that children are the future of the nation.  

The celebration commenced with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, symbolizing enlightenment, followed by a soulful prayer song. The program included captivating performances by teachers, such as classical and group dances, melodious songs, and a thought-provoking skit. A speech on the significance of Children’s Day added depth to the event, and our respected Principal inspired all with an insightful message. 

The event concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving everyone with fond memories of a day filled with love, laughter, and learning.

Diwali Celebration

The Diwali celebrations at school often mean a festive look with diyas and lanterns adorning the class. The activities permeate the school premises with an atmosphere of togetherness and hope. The students of the school celebrated the festival of Diwali with great enthusiasm. The young students proved that creativity and talent do not have boundaries. To mark the occasion, an assembly was organised on 28th October, 2024 by the students & teachers of Yellow House. It started with a solemn prayer to the almighty and a beautiful thought that filled our hearts and minds with love and harmony. The day begins with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony.  Rev. Sister Pushpa, Ms Mini, Ms. Anjali, Ms. Priyanka, Ms. Delna, Mr. Anuj, head boy and head girl from both primary and secondary sections have done the honours.

The students talked about the significance of the festival, how good always conquered evil and also about why and how Diwali is celebrated across India. Besides sensitizing students about the ill-effects of crackers, they also shared the guidelines of environment-friendly options for celebrating Diwali. Wonderful presentation of the assembly by the students instilled a sense of victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair.

The students of the Primary section continued the Diwali celebration with a melodious Diwali song. The soulful rendition was sure to fill hearts with the festive spirit. The entire presentation filled the hearts of all students with the spirit of Diwali and they enjoyed the celebrations wholeheartedly. A heartfelt message has given to Ms. Delna on their retirement from Ms. Anjum. Finally children concluded the event with a beautiful & colorful divine dance performance & emphasizing the true meaning of Diwali celebration to seek forgiveness & renew our commitments to live a righteous life ahead. Last but not the least, Ms. Mini has given the motivation & inspiring message & blessings to the children present there.

The Metaverse VR event was a groundbreaking experience that showcased the immense potential of virtual reality in education. We are proud to have provided our students with this unique opportunity to explore the Metaverse and learn about the latest advancements in VR technology. "Honouring Our Patron: Feast of St. Carlo Acutis-Yellow House"

The feast of Yellow House was celebrated on 10 October 2024, which is the house of saint Carlo Acutis.

The special prayer was conducted in the morning, followed by dance and drama, which gave a brief account of the life of the saint.

After the assembly, the students of Yellow House assembled on the Veronica ground. They enjoyed the delicious feast along with interesting games.

English Poem Recitation Competition 2024 For Class I & II

“Sacred Heart Convent Hr. Secondary School Mathura”, organized “English Poem Recitation Competition on 10th August for class I and II .The competition inspired young poets to come forward and recite on stage. The students came up with different poem on various themes. They enjoyed the perfection of expression, thoughts, emotions rhythm and music of words.

The competition was done under the vision point of Principal Sr. Juanita Sebastian and the judges of the event, “Dr Sangeeta Singh” and “Mrs. Sarita Chahar”. The competition witnessed many enthusiastic participants.

Everyone was delighted after seeing their pleasing performances. The judges appreciated and applauded the performances of the participants. The winners of the competition were awarded with certificates.

The Green House Captain delivered a sincere thank-you speech, expressing gratitude to the management for their guidance and support. The celebration dance added a joyful conclusion, and the event culminated with a vote of thanks by the Sister Principal. This programme was a testament to the school's harmonious blend of tradition, talent, and gratitude, proudly showcasing the spirit and unity of the Sacred Heart community

Ms. Delna Mathew presented a bouquet to Sr. Juanita Sebastian, symbolizing our collective appreciation and anticipation for her leadership. Similarly, Sr. Pushpa was welcomed with a bouquet by Ms. Rekha Kaushik, signifying our enthusiasm for her role in managing our school's finances.
